Hosts of the Lord

The earthly saints are those of us on this earth who have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, Lord and King and who walk in the authority He has given to us.

To those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours — I Corinthians 1:2 NKJV

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light — I Peter 2:9 NKJV

The cloud of witnesses are the ancient ones who were earthly saints, but have now passed into the spirit realm and now dwell in heaven until time to return to rule and reign on earth. They are still living and interact with us by praying for us and imparting their wisdom, understandings and mantles.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us — Hebrews 12:1 NKJV

The angelic beings are made up of different creatures created by God who dwell in the heavenly realm and interact with us at the commands of the Lord. They include messenger angels, warrior angels, watchers, seraphims, cherubims, archangels, living beings, as well as others. These are not our “servants,” but fellow workers in the kingdom of God.

Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Then he said to me,”See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
— Revelations 22:8-9 NKJV
